GULF COAST POKER TOUR

CROWNING KINGS AND QUEENS EVERYWHERE WE GO:

Our Main Event champions win a unique to that event Gulf Coast Poker.NET trophy.  We've partnered with Maker's Mark, Mr. Apple and Celevate to offer custom bonus prizes like bottles of fine whiskey and AirPods.

Our in the money players in our Main Events, also earn "In the Money Beads" as a nod to our first event Poker Gras.  We package other free GCP schwag into as well and award custom plaques or trophies to side event winners.

FUN FORMATS:

In our drive to make tournaments fun again, we push for player friendly structures and formats that excite players.  We've run and or created the Mystery Ticket, the BagWow! format, Working Man's Special, the Bag the Schwag! flight, hosted the first Short Deck tournament in the South, focused on deep stacks, tried out new Tag Team specials and partnered with women's organization Woman's only event.  Most importantly we try to get our player pool their money's worth and work with our partners on minimizing rake but upping revenue.

WORK WITH A PROPERTY ON SCHEDULES THAT WORK FOR THEM:

What to maximize your event and smash numbers over two weekends?  We do that twice a year at Pearl River.  Just want to try one long weekend?  In Bossier City/Shreveport we did just that. Player pool that wants to come after work? Our last Poker Gras was bit of all three.

SOCIAL MEDIA PROMOTIONS:

We've found giving away seats and word of mouth advertising does wonders for the build up of an event.  Many of our players have parlayed seats they won in our giveaways into big cashes.  This builds loyalty to the host venue.  We will work with you on a plan to best lead out the buzz before your event.  We also utilize our vast email database, facebook page/group and twitter contacts to bring the players.

 DEDICATED MEDIA:

Depending on the preference of client we will cover the event with live blogging via a custom blog, through social media, or on a website (or some combination thereof).  We will always promote the event the old fashioned way on our platform of websites, and dedicate coverage specifically to you.

 PARTNER LOYALTY:

We run an event for you, we will not do an event for another venue within your market.  Plus, we will promote your events on our front page through out the year.  We also have a strong relationship with Southern Poker and work together in expanding our mutual footprints.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR:

We determine player of the year on our Tour as part of our GCP Awards.  Winner is recognized at our Awards ceremony during the GCP Awards at Poker Gras (Harrahs New Orleans). 

GULF COAST POKER TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP:

Everybody that makes the top ten of a GCP event or the top twenty of GCP Main Event earns a seat in the March Gulf Coast Poker Tour Championship (Pearl River Resorts). 

In 2023, we awarded a WPT World Championship Seat as an add-on to the prize pool sponsored by our friends at Maker's Mark.

GULF COAST POKER EVENT COVERAGE:

We have partnered with casinos like the Beau Rivage during their Million Dollar Heater to bring all the action via video shorts, photographs and short posts during their tournaments. 

As an added perk any venue using us to cover their event also qualifies the top ten players in the side events and top twenty players in their Main Event to the GCP Tour Championship.

UPCOMING EVENTS
GOLDEN TICKET
 JUNE 8 -11, 2023

 We are partnering with MGM Grand in Las Vegas for one tournament in their summer series.  Our first tournament in Vegas will also be the debut of a new format:  The Mystery Ticket with Golden and Silver Ticket prizes. Everybody that makes day two will be eligible to win prizes with a flip at each table. One flip prize per table: minimum of $2,000 up to Golden Ticket prize worth $20,000. After tickets are pulled play continues as normal. Five flights; two June 8, two June 9, and one June 10.  Buy-in is $500.  A guarantee of $250k.

POKER GRAS

Our signature event where we crown the King and Queens of Poker Gras.

We also present our Annual GCP Awards for the Poker Industry in the region, and experiment with new tournaments and formats. 

Poker Gras is coming back to Harrahs, New Orleans October 5 - 15,  2023.  

MILLY IN PHILLY AT PEARL RIVER

We are back October 19 -30, 2023.  What do we have cooked up for our Halloween return?  Nothing too scary but maybe a healthy serving of Monster Stacks.


 HOLIDAY HOLD'EM

The Horseshoe at Bossier City hosted our first event there in 2019.  We returned to North Louisiana with our new partners Bally's Shreveport and Southern Poker in 2022. 

Expect us back December 2023. 



MILLION DOLLAR HEATER:


Our media team covers one of the biggest events in the South brought to you by the Beau Rivage. Look for all the winners, all the action, all the big hands, and all the fun in January 2024.  

After a covid hiatus the 2023 series was one of the biggest in the world and will only be bigger in 2024.
